The Richemont Club Luxembourg was officially founded on June 14, 1993.

On this date, in an extraordinary general assembly, it was decided to transfer the existing section of the Luxembourg Young Bakers to the newly founded Richemont Club Luxembourg.

Henri Schumacher from Wormeldange was elected as the first president of the new Richemont Club Luxembourg.

The aim of this new foundation was to further deepen and expand the existing contacts with the Richemont Technical School in Lucerne. Furthermore, it was realized that the future of the bakery and confectionery profession lay in consistent further training and participation in international competitions.

This was implemented quite successfully with many courses and competition participations. This certainly includes winning the Eurocup of Artisan Bakery in Nantes twice in 2002 and 2011.
